The two-way appliance module responds to On, Off and All Units Off commands. In addition, it can respond to a request for its status, reporting whether it is on or off.

It can be used for any kind of load, including lamps, electronics, heaters and motors.

A common example of a two-way appliance module is the RR501 transceiver.
